Taissa's treatment focus is pain relief, stress release, fertility, digestive disorders and weight management. Her success in treating these symptoms stem from using a combination of therapies acquired over 20 years of experience in competitive sports, massage, myofascial release, Reiki, acupuncture and oriental medicine. Taissa supports each patient with dietary, emotional and lifestyle programs.

Taissa lived in Canada, Hong Kong and Singapore for over 14 years and experienced, firsthand, the power of Eastern medicine integrated with Western.  After receiving regular acupuncture for a variety of ailments and sports injuries, it became clear that she needed to study and practice this art of healing.

Her treatments are hands-on and uniquely designed for each patient and their individual needs. Her partnerships with her patients always include dietary and lifestyle advice and support. She is an internationally certified massage therapist through ITEC and BABTEC and studied bodywork and myofascial release while living in South East Asia.

Taissa graduated as Valedictorian of her class at the Won Institute and holds a Diplomate in Acupuncture (Dipl.Ac.) from the NCCAOM, (the National Commisssion for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).

Megan is continuing her path in Oriental medicine and is currently enrolled in the Chinese Herbal program at the Won Institute. In addition to the demanding clinic program, Megan studied Esoteric Acupuncture through Mikio Sankey, facial rejuvination, weight loss and fertility with Dr. Martha Lucas , in addition to  focusing her studies on anxiety, pain, digestive disorders and women's health.

In 2013, Megan was led to acupuncture after Chinese medicine changed her life during a health scare. This has provided a basis for Megan’s passion and drive to continue learning and teaching others of the healing powers of this medicine.

She structures her treatments to allow the time to listen thoroughly to each patient. Megan has successfully treated a wide range of pain, emotional, digestive disorders, and women’s health issues, among other conditions. Megan is interested in treating the whole person: body, mind, and spirit. She often makes diet and lifestyle recommendations to assist her patients in taking their health to the next level.

Megan feels strongly that acupuncture should be accessible to all individuals and works to educate the public on the benefits of acupuncture.  In her free time, Megan enjoys practicing yoga, reading, traveling, skiing, hiking, cooking, live music and spending time with friends and family.
